The worldwide bestselling Fluxx product family has a new member: with Fluxx360 Big Dutchman introduces a new feed pan for broiler growing with a diameter of 360 mm (14"). Compared to feed pans with a diameter of 330 mm, it provides 14 percent more feeding space, meaning that fewer pans are needed per house. The already reduced cleaning effort can still be further reduced by the new, easy-to-use locking mechanism of pan and grille: “To facilitate the cleaning process, the feed dish can be opened with one simple click. Another new feature are the four cleaning openings at the bottom of the pan. The openings ensure that residual liquids such as disinfection liquids, for example, completely drain off the pan even when it is closed” says product manager Roland Busse, illustrating another two innovations.
The Fluxx360 pan is also available with a sliding shut-off which allows the pan to be completely closed. This way, poultry producers can decide at any point, for example in the case of day-old chicks, how many pans they want to use during the rearing phase.
In addition to the above mentioned new features, the new Fluxx360 includes all technical details which have made the other pans of the Fluxx product family bestsellers. Amongst others, this includes the patented Spin-n-Lock-technology: eight different feed levels may be adjusted single-handedly simply by lifting and rotating the pans. Another well-proven Fluxx feature, which has also been integrated in the Fluxx360 pan, is the centrally operable 360 degree feed flooding mechanism. It ensures an especially high feed level during the first couple of days when the pans still stand on the floor; after this phase the pan lines are lifted based on the age and size of the birds, thus reducing the feed level.
