Big Dutchman’s SaniStar®-hygiene nipple drinker has had an excellent reputation with successful broiler growers for years. The reason is: SaniStar® combines the advantages of an ideal water supply with the hygienic advantages of a nipple drinker without cup, thus leading to a high growing performance and healthy birds. With the presentation of SaniStar® 4,5, Big Dutchman now markets a new generation of the worldwide established nipple drinker.
“SaniStar® has been optimized to further improve the birds’ water intake,“ says Friedrich Otto-Lübker, manager of the Big Dutchman poultry division. “This leads to a higher feed intake and eventually to a higher end-weight.“
The new SaniStar® 4,5 has a more precise valve pin with a greater lateral excursion and a larger diameter, thus facilitating the birds’ water intake. With even more detailed improvements such as the upper stopper of the valve pin and a sharp-edged cut on the bottom part, Big Dutchman’s engineers succeeded in avoiding splash and dripping water even more effectively.
