"What's new at VIV Europe 2006-World Poultry Awards-Egg detector for cages and aviaries-In enriched cages or aviaries, eggs are mostly laid in the area of the nests from where they roll onto the egg belt [...] Big Dutchman has developed an egg sensor to determine the number of eggs at several positions for the entire house, by means of a scale which transmits its signal to a computer. The computer programme then determines when the egg belts have to be automatically pulled forward to give more space for the additional eggs laid.
EggFlow and Tracking System- [...] To achieve a low number of egg losses from cracked or hair-cracked eggs, the egg transport has to be finely tuned from the egg belt in front of the cages over the different transfer units to the cross belts, and from the cross belts through the houses to the packer. Big Dutchman's new EggFlow and Tracking System consists of several automation components, measuring techniques, as well as hardware and software modules to optimise the egg stream. "

"Eierverwerking-Voor de behandeling van eieren op het legbedrijf presenteerde Big Dutchman (www.bigdutchman.de) de 'Egg detector' voor (verrijkte)kooi- en volièrebedrijven. Deze apparatuur bepaalt door middel van een weegschaal de hoeveelheid eieren die op de eierband terechtkomt. Als een bepaalde waarde wordt bereikt, wordt de eierband automatisch gestart en een stukje opgeschoven. Zo wordt een optimale verdeling van de eieren op de eierband bereikt, wat de kwaliteit van de eieren verbetert. Big Dutchman kreeg er een zilveren World Poultry Award voor. Voor het EggFlow&Tracing System kreeg Big Dutchman een gouden Award. Dit systeem bestaat uit diverse geautomatiseerde maat- en meettechnieken, hard- en software om de eierstroom van eierband tot inpakker te optimaliseren."

Otro interesante producto de Big Dutchman que pudimos ver fue su software "Amacs" (sistema para el manejo y control de la producción de huevos).
